The Pagani Huayra Roadster has been recently rendered and the images posted above are giving us a first look into what the drop-top version of the powerful Italian supercar might look like.
Pagani has already confirmed the production of the Huayra Roadster and we already know that this version of the supercar will make its way onto the market in 2013 or in 2014, but until today, we haven’t seen any images of the model. The photos posted below are renderings of the Pagani Huayra Roadster and they have been provided by aldomariasica.blogspot.it.
The Pagani Huayra Roadster is expected to be powered by the same engine used on the regular version of the supercar, the 6.0 liter bi-turbo made by AMG, which will produce a total output of 700 HP and it will have a peak torque of 1,000 Nm (740 lb-ft). This should be enough to allow the Italian drop-top supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in below 4 seconds, considering the fact that the Coupe is able to sprint in 3.5 seconds. Top speed in the Pagani Huayra Coupe stands at 370 km/h (230 mph) but the Roadster might be slower. The unit will be mated to the same seven-speed sequential transmission. Prices for the Pagani Huayra Coupe start at 1,150,000 USD so the Roadster will be more expensive.
