Pagani is planning to introduce a Roadster version of the impressive Huayra as the model in question will be making its public debut sometime within the next two years.
The Pagani Huayra is one impressive ride to own but the model is about to become even hotter as the carmaker is planning on introducing a Roadster version. The upcoming Pagani Huayra Roadster will carry no mechanical modifications on the hardtop and it will be riding on the same platform, getting the same interior design and it will be powered by the same V12 engine as its solid roof brother. The only difference will probably be in its weight, because the drop-top will most likely be slightly heavier.
The 6.0 liter Mercedes-AMG twin turbo V12 engine will still be used on the Huayra Roadster and in its coupe brother, the unit is producing a total output of 720 HP (539 kW) and it has 1,000 Nm (740 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes just over 3 seconds and top speed stands at 370 km/h (230 mph). Rumors are saying that the Pagani Huayra Roadster will be making its debut over the next couple of years, so expect test mules to be spied shortly.
