The Pagani Huayra will become even hotter with the addition of a new range-topping variant.
If you thought that the Huayra is the best supercar out there, get ready to be mind-blown as the company is getting ready to pull the wraps off a hardcore variant. The model in question is believed to be called the Pagani Huayra SE and to come with a lot of updates, including a more aerodynamic body kit and, of course, an updated engine. This hasn’t been confirmed officially at the time but the screenshot posted above is from the company’s official website, where a teaser video has been published.
At this point, we have no clue on the power of the hardcore supercar made in Modena, Italy, but this is believed to be offered in a two-door coupe body style, at first at least, and to maintain its rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Under the hood of the current Pagani Huayra, we can find a twin turbo 6.0 liter V12 engine, signed by Mercedes-AMG. This is capable of producing a total output of 720 HP (539 kW) and an impressive torque figure of 1,000 Nm (740 lb-ft). Pagani may pull the wraps off the new Huayra SE at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, this September, but this hasn’t been confirmed either at this point.
