The 2014th edition of the Paris Motor Show continues as the South Korean based automaker Hyundai has recently pulled the wraps off the new i20.
The 2015 Hyundai i20 is looking instantly recognizable as it is adopting an evolutionary design with the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. The model is bringing the more upright front fascia, the flanked LED infused headlights, the hexagonal grille, the gloss black C-pillars, the sweeping shoulder line and several other tweaks, to help it stand out from a crowd easier.
The interior design of the vehicle has received a clean design with higher quality materials, piano black accents, metallic trim, color coordinated dashboard, asymmetric dashboard angled 5 degrees towards the driver to improve the key controls, panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, 7-inch display for the infotainment system and GPS navigation and so on.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the new i20 is coming with the 1.25 liter four-cylinder petrol rated at 75 HP (55 kW) and at 84 HP (62 kW). This is followed by the 1.4L petrol with 100 HP (74 kW) and 134 Nm (99 lb-ft) of torque. The diesel lineup includes the 1.1 liter with 75 HP (55 kW) and 180 Nm (134 lb-ft) and the 1.4 liter with 90 HP (66 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft). A three-cylinder 1.0L petrol with 120 HP (88 kW) and 172 Nm (127 lb-ft) of torque will be added next year.
