The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has officially introduced the new generation of the C63 AMG at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Besides pulling the wraps off the AMG GT sports car, the car manufacturer has also introduced the new generation of the C63 AMG during the same automotive event. The model in question will be offered in two body styles, sedan and wagon, and it will also come in two versions, the C63 AMG and the C63 AMG S. Both models will be powered by the same 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which made its debut on the AMG GT.
In the cheapest version, the unit is producing a total output of 476 HP (350 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, while in the more expensive C63 AMG S, the unit is rated at 510 HP (375 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The C63 AMG S Sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and the C63 AMG S Estate can do it in 4.1 seconds. The regular models will do it 0.1 seconds slower compared to the S ones. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph) in all versions.
