Paris Motor Show: Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Red Vapor image

The US carmaker has taken the wraps and introduced in Europe the Grand Cherokee SRT Red Vapor limited series during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

The very red “monster” has been presented not long ago overseas in the US and has now jumped across the Atlantic Ocean to please the European buyers. The limited series edition has gloss black accents and 20-inch alloy wheels with a Black Vapor chrome finish. There aren’t many other modifications but although it’s named Red Vapor the model would have more than one shade of paint: Redline Pearl Clear Coat, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat and Bright White Clear Coat.

Inside, we can find the backlit “SRT” logo on the steering wheel, an anodised silver finish trim and grey chrome replacing standard shiny chrome. There are also numerous Radar Red details and if you pop the hood open you’ll see a dark red engine compartment lid. The cabin also comes equipped with unique Laguna leather interior upholstery in Black with central insert in Radar Red suede and up front the driver has the 8.4″ UconnectTM touchscreen display that features 3D navigation, advanced voice recognition with one-shot-destination-entry, Bluetooth audio streaming and hands-free system.

Under the hood, the battle ready 6.4-litre HEMI V8 engine has 468 HP and 624 Nm of torque. It’s equipped with Fuel Saver technology, but actually no one cares about it – that’s because the 100 km/h sprint is done in 5 seconds and top speed is of 257 km/h.
