Chevrolet has brought the all-new 2013 Trax model to the 2012 Paris Motor Show in a premiere.
Some say that the Chevrolet Trax is a small SUV, others that this is a B-segment crossover but we don’t care about any of that and in fact we liked its body and interior design and the fact that the model won’t be available in the United States makes it even more appealing on the Old Continent. Chevrolet says that the Trax will be a direct competitor for models like the Skoda Yeti, the Nissan Qashqai and so on and we can’t wait for the model to be launched in Europe later on this year.
The Chevrolet Trax will be offered with a choice of three engines, which includes a 1.4 liter gasoline, a 1.6 liter gasoline and a 1.7 liter turbo diesel. Besides the standard front-wheel drive, the 2013 Chevrolet Trax will also hit the market with optional all-wheel drive, on versions equipped with the 1.4 liter turbocharged engine or with the 1.7 liter turbo diesel unit. The upper versions of the 2013 Chevrolet Trax will get goodies such as the Chevrolet MyLink system. More details on the new GM crossover will be announced close to its European launch.
