The new generation of the Kia Pro Cee’d has been officially presented to the public in a world premiere at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
Along with the new Carens MPV, the South Korean based automaker Kia has also brought the new generation of the Pro Cee’d, which was unveiled just a few days ahead of its debut. The 2013 Kia Pro Cee’d is getting a sportier design, similar to the one used by Opel on its Astra GTC model, but the three-door hatchback is also resembling with its larger brother, the five-door version.
The 2013 Kia Pro Cee’d is expected to get a range of 1.4 liter and 1.6 liter petrol engines under its hood and, besides the regular lineup, the hatchback is expected to get a hot GT version too. The new Kia Pro Cee’d GT will be powered by a 1.6 liter turbocharged engine, which will produce a total output of 200 BHP and it’s expected to be officially presented to the public at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. More details on the new generation of the Kia Pro Cee’d are expected to be announced close to the model’s launch.
