The new generation of the Ford S-MAX has been officially presented to the public, along with the facelifted C-MAX, at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in a world premiere.
Officially unveiled a few weeks ago and previewed by the S-MAX Concept last year in Geneva, the new generation of the Ford S-MAX is finally here and it has made its public debut during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The model in question is coming with the already familiar Aston Martin-like front grille, with the sculpted headlights and with some other tweaks. The MPV is based on the new Ford Mondeo generation and it has folding second and third row of seats, a first in the segment, heated and cooled massage seats and a hands-free boot lid.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the 2015 Ford S-MAX is coming with a 118 HP (80 kW) 2.0 liter TDCI diesel engine, connected to a six-speed manual transmission, and with a 148 HP (110 kW) and 177 HP (132 kW) versions of the same unit. The petrol range is made out of the 1.5 liter EcoBoost, with its 158 HP (118 kW) and 2.0 liter EcoBoost, with the 237 HP (177 kW). The model will go on sale soon but no pricing details have been announced yet.

The engine lineup includes the 1.5L TDCI with 120 HP, the 2.0 TDCI with 140 HP or 163 HP, the 1.0L EcoBoost with 100 HP or 125 HP and the 1.5L EcoBoost with 150 HP and 180 HP.
