The brand new Suzuki Vitara has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Suzuki has officially pulled the wraps off the 2015 Vitara at the French automotive event. The SUV is basically the production version of the iV-4 Concept, which was shown in Frankfurt last year, and it is coming with a toned down styling. The model has a chrome radiator grille, LED daytime running lights which have been integrated in the front bumper, front-wheel drive as standard and the ALLGRIP all-wheel drive available as an option from the larger SX4 S-Cross and several other tweaks.
The 2015 Suzuki Vitara is taking its power from a 1.6 liter petrol M16 engine, rated at 120 HP (88 kW) and 156 Nm (115 lb-ft) of torque. Diesel lovers will be able to order the 1.6 liter D16AA unit, with the same 120 HP (88 kW) but with more torque, 320 Nm (236 lb-ft). The petrol burner is connected to a 5-speed manual while the diesel has a 6-speed manual transmission. The 6-speed automatic is available as an option. The new Suzuki Vitara will go on sale next year and pricing will be announced soon.
