The new generation of the Volvo XC90 has been officially presented to the public at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in a premiere.
After being officially unveiled just a few months ago, the new generation of the Volvo XC90 has finally made its public debut, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The model in question has an evolutionary design with a large chrome grille, LED daytime running lights, fog lights on the lower part of the front bumper, chromed window framing, roof mounted spoiler, double exhaust tips, 22-inch alloy wheels and several other tweaks.
The interior design of the 2015 Volvo XC90 is minimalistic and it is coming with a touch screen which is replacing most of the buttons. Some of the goodies found here include the four-zone climate control, the 19-spearker Bowers and Wilkins audio system, the soft leather seats, the 1,400-watt audio system, aluminum inserts, wood trim, Apple CarPlay, HERE navigation system, a third row of seats which can accommodate people who are up to 1.7 meters tall and so on.
The engine lineup in the new generation of the popular Swedish SUV includes the D5 twin turbo diesel with 225 HP, the D4 with 190 HP, the T6 turbocharged and supercharged which is good for 320 HP, the T5 with its 254 HP or the T8 plug-in hybrid, which is capable of producing no less than 400 HP. The Volvo XC90 will start production in 2015 and it will be produced in Torslanda, Gothenburg.
