The Audi TT-S Roadster has recently made its public debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Originally unveiled just a few days ago, the brand new Audi TT-S Roadster is now being highlighted by the German based automaker which has brought it to the 2014th edition of the Paris Motor Show. The model in question is following the same lines as the Coupe but it is adding a power folding fabric roof, which can be opened and closed in 10 seconds, at speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph).
Thanks to the use of materials such as aluminum and magnesium, 3 kg have been saved compared to its predecessor. The model is riding on the same MQB platform used on various vehicles produced under the close watch of the Volkswagen Group and in the 2.0 TFSI version, this is weighing in at 1,320 kg (2,910 lbs). The unit is capable of producing a total output of 310 HP (228 kW) and it has a peak torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes just 4.9 seconds and top speed stands at 250 km/h (155 mph). The regular drop-top can also be ordered with a 230 HP 2.0 TFSI and with a 183 HP 2.0 TDI.
