The Bentley Continental GT Speed has been officially presented to the public during the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
After it was finally revealed earlier this year, the Bentley Continental GT Speed is being placed into the spotlights once more, this time with the luxury automaker bringing it to the 2012 edition of the Paris Motor Show. The so-called “gentlemen’s supercar” has already been revealed at the Moscow Motor Show in August and it’s 4, 806 mm long, 1,944 mm wide and 1,395 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,746 mm. The name of the luxurious car has been inspired from the “Speed” models from 1923 and the first generation of the Continental GT Speed was a huge success, so this new one is expected to find new owners in a short time.
As a quick reminder, the Bentley Continental GT Speed is powered by the iconic 6-liter twin turbo W12 engine, which is developing a total output of 616 BHP (625 PS) at 6,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 800 Nm (590 lb-ft), available between 2,000 and 5,000 rpm. The Bentley Continental GT Speed can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and from 0 to 100 mph (160 km/h) in 9.0 seconds. The impressive engine is mated to the new ZF eight-speed close-ratio automatic transmission which is sending all the power to the all-wheel drive system. The Continental GT Speed is burning 22.2L/100km urban, 10.1L/100km extra urban and 14.5L/100km combined, while the CO2 emissions stop at 338 g/km.
