The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Ettore Bugatti Special Edition has been officially brought to the 2014th edition of the Paris Motor Show, in a local premiere.
Bugatti has officially unveiled the new Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Ettore Bugatti Special Edition a few months ago, during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and now the hypercar has made its way into the Paris Motor Show. The model in question has been shown on the 1st of October, one day before the gates of the event have opened for the press.
The impressive ride is wearing the name of the company’s founder and it has a hand-polished aluminum front end, constrasting with the dark blue exposed carbon fiber rear end, bespoke alloy wheels, an elegant interior design, a platinum coated dancing elephant emblem and several other tweaks.
The most important part is found under its hood where the 8-liter W16 quad turbocharged engine is found. This is capable of an impressive 1,200 HP (882 kW) and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, which is allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.6 seconds. Top speed, with its roof down, stands at 409 km/h (253 mph).
