Lexus brought to Paris its flagship sedan, the new LS, including the most expensive and luxurious version of the range, the LS600h hybrid with F-Sport trim.
Equipped with Lexus Hybrid Drive, the LS 600h remains the world’s most powerful V8-powered full hybrid. The new Lexus flagship incorporates powerful new styling featuring the Lexus spindle grille design, with enhanced driving dynamics and industry-leading technology.
The exterior of the new LS has been comprehensively redesigned. A Lexus first, it can be equipped with all-LED exterior lighting, including vertical foglamps incorporating the world’s smallest PES lens, and unique, L-shaped, seamless light tube Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).
The all-new LS F SPORT package combines more sporting, aggressive exterior and interior design with dynamic enhancements, including the lowering of ride height by 10 mm, Brembo 6-pot calliper front brakes, and paddle shift controls.
The LS600h is is available with a full-time AWD system, which features a central, permanently engaged, Torsen Limited Slip center Differential (LSD) to further enhance grip, traction and cornering stability. The luxury hybrid is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine that develops 389 hp and an electric motor that delivers 49 hp, for a total system power of 438 hp. The car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and averages 20 mpg (11.7 liters/100 km) on the combined cycle.
