Maserati has recently pulled the wraps off the GranCabrio MC, which is basically the drop-top version of the MC Stradale, during the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
After starting its life as a simple rumor not too long ago and then being officially presented in some official images just earlier this month, the Maserati GranCabrio MC is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in a world premiere.
“Designed to complete Maserati’s open-top range, the new Maserati GranCabrio MC blends high performance and sports characteristics derived from racing experience with the style, charm and practicality of Maserati’s four seater convertible”, said the carmaker in the official press release.
According to the car manufacturer, the Maserati GranCabrio MC is 48 mm longer when compared to the GranCabrio and the GranCabrio Sport and the model is borrowing some styling cues from the MC Stradale. The Masearati GranCabrio MC has been created in order to complete the company’s open-top range and the model is coming with a more aggressive and sportier appearance. Additional details on the new sports car signed by Maserati are limited for the moment.
