Mazda has brought the new generation of the Mazda6 to the 2012 Paris Motor Show where Europeans can get a first look up close before the model will be launched across the continent later on this year.
The new generation of the Mazda6 has started its public life one year ago as the Takeri concept and after it was officially unveiled in some images and videos a couple of months ago, the model is ending up in our news once again, this time with the Japanese based automaker bringing it to the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The French automotive event is the second public debut of the sedan after it was also brought to the 2012 Moscow Motor Show back in August.
Mazda says that the new generation of the Mazda6 is coming with a choice of two petrol engines in Russia, the SkyActiv-G 2.0 liter with 148 HP (150 PS / 110 kW) and 210 Nm of torque (155 lb-ft), along with the larger SkyActiv-G with 2.5 liter, developing a total output of 189 HP (192 PS / 141 kW) and 256 Nm of torque (189 lb-ft). The 2013 Mazda6 has a Kodo design language, a signature wing grille and LED infused headlights.
