Paris Motor Show LIVE: New Porsche Carrera 4 and 4S

Porsche has brought the new generation of the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S to the 2012 edition o the Paris Motor Show.

The 2013 Porsche Carrera 4 and the Carrera 4S are available in two body styles, Coupe and Convertible, and the only way of differentiating the 911 with all-wheel drive and the regular version is the rear logo and the illuminated red light strip. The new Carrera with AWD is getting two oval exhausts while the more powerful Carrera 4S is coming with four round tailpipes, just like the RWD versions.

The engine lineup in the new generation of the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S is identical to the rear-wheel drive variants and this means that the Carrera 4 will get the 3.4 liter unit under its hood, with 350 HP, while the Carrera S will use the 3.8 liter engine which is producing a total output of 400 horsepower. Prices in the United States for the 2013 Porsche Carrera 4 Coupe start at 91,030 USD and at 102,930 USD for the Cabriolet, while the more powerful Carrera 4 S Coupe can be bought from 105,630 USD and the 4S Cabriolet at 117,530 USD.
