Smart has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the so-called Forstars concept, during the 2012 edition of the Paris Motor Show.
Danger in MINI’s garden with its recently launched MINI Coupe because Smart is planning a rival for this model with the Forstars concept, which was officially presented to the public in a world premiere during the 2012 Paris Motor Show. According to the car manufacturer, the Smart Forstars will enter production soon and this represents the company’s vision of the future, along with an upcoming rival for the MINI Coupe. The Smart Forstars concept will eventually give birth to more vehicles.
Under the hood, the new Smart Forstars concept is coming with an all-electric powertrain, which is producing a total output of 80 HP and it has a peak torque of 135 Nm, enough to allow the model to achieve a top speed o 130 km/h. The Germans are saying that all of the model’s features, starting with the multimedia system and ending with the climate control, can be ordered with an iPhone and under the hood we can find a hidden projector which allows images sent from the same iPhone to be seen on any vertical surface, like your very own movie theatre. The Smart Forstars is expected to see daylight in a final production version sometimes in 2014.
