The facelifted version of the Volkswagen Polo GTI has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
The 2015 Volkswagen Polo GTI was officially unveiled a couple of weeks ago and now the model is ending up in our news once again, as the company has brought it to the 2014th edition of the Paris Motor Show. The hot hatch is looking instantly recognizable and it has a sport front bumper, a new rear bumper, honeycomb grille inserts, a dual exhaust system, a flat bottom steering wheel in the cabin, gloss black accents, sport seats, red stitching and so on.
The most important part of the facelifted Volkswagen Polo GTI is found under its hood where the German based automaker has fitted a 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine. According to the company, the unit is capable of producing no less than 192 HP (141 kW) and it has a peak torque of 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to the wheels through the 6-speed manual or the DSG transmission. This is allowing the B-segment vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 6.7 seconds and to reach a top speed of 236 km/h (148 mph).
