After they unveiled the Zagato Coupe at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, BMW and Zagato decided to present the Zagato Roadster at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The car’s body features many of the same design elements seen on the coupe, including Zagato’s take on the BMW dual kidney grille, which is matte-finished and integrates the letter “Z” into its design.
Truth be told, we favor the Roadster’s design a little more than the Coupe’s, which places so much of its visual mass over the rear axle.
Inside the BMW Zagato Roadster’s cabin, its brown leather seats feature colour contrasting stitching as does the leather steering wheel and centre console. The seats are also embroidered with a ‘z’ emblem.
Like the coupe, the BMW Zagato Roadster is based on the Z4 sDrive35iS and is powered by a 3.0 liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine making close to 400-hp.
