The French based automaker Peugeot has recently announced its plans to continue the partnership with Toyota on the new 108 model too.
Just like the Peugeot 107, the Citroen C1 and the Toyota Aygo are basically the same car under a different body, the collaboration between the three companies will be continued with the new generations of these models too, as the French based automaker has recently announced. According to the car manufacturer, the upcoming Peugeot 108 will be produced along with the Aygo and the C1 at the company’s facility in Czech Republic.
The Peugeot 108 is expected to go on sale in 2014, as a 2015 model, but the vehicle might be officially presented to the public, along with its brothers, the Toyota Aygo and the Citroen C1, during an international motor show, probably in late 2013 or early 2014. Besides the collaboration with Toyota, Peugeot is also planning to develop two B-segment supermini sized models, in a partnership with General Motors, and one of them is expected to be a crossover. Additional details on these models will be announced over the following years.
