The Peugeot 2008 DKR has been spotted in the metal at the exhibition hall of the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, which will officially open its gates this Sunday.
The brand new Peugeot 2008 DKR is ending up in our news once again, after it has been unveiled online, this time with the help of a few images which are revealing the racer at the exhibition hall of the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. The model in question will compete in next year’s Dakar Rally, after a break of 25 years since the carmaker has participated in the grueling competition.
The heavily modified Peugeot 2008 with two-wheel drive is missing out on its rear doors and it has a shortened front overhang, which will allow it to have a higher approach angle. Other noticeable changes include the massive off-road tires, 37-inch in size, signed by Michelin, the huge rear wing and some other bits and pieces which make the Peugeot 2008 DKR look rather like a zombie fighting machine than a racer. More details on this racing crossover are limited for the moment and will probably be announced on Sunday, during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, where it will be making its public debut.
