The new Peugeot 208 GTI 30th Anniversary has been recently teased as the model in question will be officially presented to the public towards the end of the month, during the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Peugeot is getting ready to introduce a brand new 208 GTI 30th Anniversary edition during the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, towards the end of this month. The model in question has been already teased but, just as you have seen for yourselves, the photo in question is not revealing anything interesting on the model. However, we can see the British flag under its front grille but chances are that the final product will come with even more changes than the standard 208 GTI.
The new Peugeot 208 GTI 30th Anniversary might also get a small power increase to the 1.6 liter turbocharged engine which, in the standard 208 GTI it is producing a total output of 200 HP (147 kW) and it has a peak torque of 275 Nm (203 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes just 6.8 seconds and top speed stands at more than 225 km/h (140 mph). More details on the vehicle are limited for the moment.
