The new Peugeot 208 GTi 30th Anniversary special edition has been officially unveiled by the French based automaker and it will be debuting at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Peugeot is currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic 205 GTi with the new 208 GTi 30th Anniversary special edition which has been officially unveiled and it will be making its way onto the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The model in question has a two-tone red and black livery and it is riding on 18-inch alloy wheels, which have been covered in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, 205/40 in size.
Power to the new Peugeot 208 GTi 30th Anniversary is being provided by the new 1.6 liter THP four-cylinder gasoline engine, which is Euro 6 compliant. According to the car manufacturer, the unit is producing an extra 8 HP (6 kW) and 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) of torque, to a total of 208 HP (153 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to the front-wheel drive. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 6.5 seconds. The model will go on sale in November but no pricing details have been announced yet.
