The new generation of the French hatchback, the 208, has been recently launched in the United Kingdom, where the model has been priced from 9,995 pounds.
According to the car manufacturer, the entry-level Peugeot 208 will be offered, to its future customers in the United Kingdom, with the 1.0 liter three-cylinder petrol engine, which is developing a total output of 67 BHP, emitting just 99 g/km of CO2. Standard equipment on the new hatch includes central locking, front electric windows and rear LED lights. Next in the lineup is the 208 Active, which has been priced from 11,695 pounds. The model is adding multi-color touch screen, Bluetooth, front fog lights and 15-inch alloy wheels.
The top of the range Feline models are coming with a panoramic sunroof, sports seats, a rear spoiler and 17-inch alloy wheels, along with the 1.6 liter petrol engine, in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions. The French based automaker is also offering the new Peugeot 208 in a limited edition, named the Ice Velvet, which is available in the three-door body style only, with the 1.6 liter petrol engine, for 18,495 pounds, coming with tinted windows, satellite navigation system, parking sensors and 17-inch alloy wheels. The new Peugeot 208 will go on sale in the UK starting with the 28th of June.
