The French based automaker Peugeot has recently announced that the 208 XY will be officially presented to this month’s 2012 Paris Motor Show.
Just like the 208 GTI, the 208 XY was officially presented to the public earlier this year, at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March, as a concept, but, since then, the car manufacturer has placed it into production and the final version of the model will make its world debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, later on this month. When compared to the standard 208, the 208 XY is coming with some extra features.
Peugeot says that the 208 XY is getting, besides the Purple Night shade, five other exterior colors, along with a chromed front grille, chromed ornaments for the side windows, chromed rim caps, chromed surrounds for the fog lights, ornaments for the roof (optional) and a fresh set of 17-inch alloy wheels.
The interior of the Peugeot 208 XY hasn’t been left aside either by the designers and the cabin has now been fitted with leather elements with “Purple Night” stitching, the central part of the seats has been finished in Alcantara and the package is completed by new floor mats and aluminum sport pedals. This version of the 208 is getting the 1.6 e-HDi with 92 HP and 115 HP, the 1.6 VTi with 120 HP and the 1.6 THP with 155 HP.
