The French based automaker Peugeot has recently announced that the 301 has been launched in Romania, where the model can be bought from 10,900 euros, VAT included.
The Peugeot 301 is sharing the same platform with the Citroen C-Elysee and both models are now available for order in Romania for the same starting price set at 10,900 euros, VAT included. According to the car manufacturer, the Peugeot 301 is getting the same 1.2 liter petrol engine on the entry-level version, which is producing 72 horsepower, just like the Citroen C-Elysee.
The standard equipment level on the Peugeot 301 includes features like the ABS, ESP, AFU, traction control, front ventilated disc brakes, front electric windows, remote central locking, front and side airbags, trip computer and more. Peugeot says that the climate control isn’t offered on the cheapest version of the 301, just like Citroen isn’t offering it on the base C-Elysee. The Peugeot 301 is a global model and it’s aimed towards markets in Central and Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Russia, Middle East, North Africa and South America.
