Peugeot 307 Crossover for China

The French car manufacturer has announced the intention of introducing a crossover 307 especially for the Chinese market.

As a big piece of cake that is trying to stay uneaten among children, the China auto market is irresistible to everyone in the industry.

But what can you do if you want to sell more cars in China? It’s simple, you add a few layers of plastic in black colour on the exterior and raise the suspension, the result being a crossover or a mini SUV, depends on the marketing strategy.

According to the Peugeot manangment, the new 307 crossover will 4249 cm long, 1786 cm wide and 1556 cm high, compared to the normal figures of 4212 x 1762 x 1531. Weight of the new 307 crossover will also be increased, from 1247 kg, as a normal 307 weights, to around 1261 kg.

With a car made to gain in all areas except the wheelbase, the new Peugeot 307 sports-crossover has the advantage of an increasing auto market to become a success on the Asian continent.
