The first rendering with a cabrio version of the new Peugeot 308 generation has recently hit the web and it might offer us a preview into a future body style of the popular French hatchback.
The new generation of the Peugeot 308 has been officially introduced just earlier this year and now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of an image, which is showing it in a convertible body style. The photo posted above represents a rendering and it has been created by Theophilus Chin, who believes that such a model should hit the production line. We must agree, considering the fact that its main competitors used to, or are still offering, such a body style of their models.
The new Peugeot 308 generation is getting an 82 HP (60 kW) 1.2 liter VTi engine under its hood, for the base entry-level version, which will set you back for 17,800 euros. The 1.6 liter HDi with 92 HP (70 kW) costs 21,250 euros, while for the 1.6 liter THP, developing 125 HP (92 kW), customers will have to pay the same 22,150 euros. Order the e-HDi with 115 HP (85 kW) and get ready to pay 24,300 euros, while for the 1.6 liter THP, with 155 HP (114 kW), prices have been set at 25,400 EUR, in the Allure, or 27,500 EUR, in the Feline top of the line version.
