The Peugeot 308 GT has arrived in Australia recently where the model in question will become available to its future customers from 41, 990 AUD, plus on-road costs.
Peugeot says that the cheapest version of the 308 is the Access 96 kW e-THP manual, which can be yours from 21,990 AUD, while the range topping version is the 308 GT 133 kW BlueHDi auto, which has been priced from 42,990 AUD. All prices are without the on-road costs, as the carmaker is explaining. Peugeot says that unique items to the 308 GT are the cross-hatch front grille with the lion at the center, the Magnetic Blue exterior finish, the twin sports exhaust system and several other tweaks.
The interior design of the model includes the red dials with cornering G-force, power / torque and acceleration gauges, the stitching for the Alcantara front sport seats, the massage front seats, which are an exclusive for the C-segment, the full leather interior trim with the front seat heating will set you back for 2,000 AUD because this is an option and so on. The 308 GT is 7 mm and 10 mm front to rear closer to the road compared to the regular 308 and it has 10 and 20 percent stiffer springs and dampers. The exhaust noise has been amplified and the diesel is getting standard paddle shifters. The 1.6L petrol turbo with 4 cylinders, rated at 151 kW and 285 Nm of torque has a 6-speed manual transmission while the 2.0L turbo diesel has a 6-speed automatic.
