The new Peugeot 408 Sedan has recently leaked in a couple of images ahead of its public debut which will take place this weekend, during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.
The brand new Peugeot 408 Sedan will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, but rather than being kept a surprise, the model in question has actually leaked ahead of its debut. The images posted below are showing the China-spec 408 Sedan but chances are that the European version will look pretty much the same, but it may receive the 308 Sedan moniker, later on, instead of the current 408.
When compared to the hatchback, the 408 Sedan has a longer overhang, wider horizontal taillights and some other tweaks. The vehicle will be riding on the same EMP2 platform used on the hatchback and wagon and the Chinese version will be using a 117 HP (82 kW) 1.6 liter naturally aspirated engine, a 140 HP (104 kW) 1.8 liter and a 163 HP (121 kW) 1.6 liter turbo. The European variant will be coming with the same Euro-6 compliant units, along with the 1.2 liter PureTech e-THP turbocharged gasoline burner, rated at 130 HP (96 kW).
