The French based automaker Peugeot has recently announced that the 408 Sedan will be launched in Russia in the nearby future.
After the car manufacturer said not too long ago that the Peugeot 408 Sedan will enter production in Malaysia, where the model has also been caught testing a few months before, the company is once again highlighting the model, this time by announcing its launch in Russia. Even if Peugeot said that the 408 Sedan will reach Russia soon, more details on the model are currently limited, but after the model is already available in China, with its production starting in Malaysia and now getting ready for Russia too, the 408 Sedan will most likely make its way into Europe too, as a C-segment car.
According to the car manufacturer, the Peugeot 408 Sedan is actually based on the 307 for the Russian market and the model will also hit the production line in Russia, at the PCMA RUS production facilities in the Kaluga region. The Peugeot 408 Sedan is also expected to be launched in the Middle East and South America too, and compared to other C-segment vehicles, it will come nicely equipped with features like the satellite navigation system and climate control.
