After the official Frankfurt Motor Show unveiling of the 508 RXH Limited Edition, the French automaker Peugeot has announced that the “off-roader” has been sold out in just three days.

Being welcomed by the public at the German event, the 508 RXH Limited Edition has the “classic” scheme of an electric motor powering the vehicle, helped on the way by a diesel engine.

Peugeot says that its 508 RXH Limited Edition is delivering a total output of 200 PS (147 kW) and 450 Nm of torque (332 lb-ft) from the electric motor and the 2.0 liter diesel unit, having an average fuel consumption of just 4.2 liters / 100km (70.6 mpg) and fuel emissions of 109 g/km.

The Limited Edition has been launched by Peugeot to preview a new member that will arrive in the French family and all the 300 units available have been sold out already so customers who wanted one will have to wait until 2012 when the production version will be launched.

Owners of the 508 RXH Limited Edition have paid 48.950 euros for the car, getting electric seats, climate control, keyless go, high-fidelity JBL audio system, xenon headlights, electric operated trunk, front and rear parking assist, 18 inch aluminum rims and the “classic” Alcantara leather.
