Peugeot detailing the 2008 crossover ahead of Geneva debut image

Peugeot has released new details and images with the brand new 2008, ahead of the crossover’s official debut scheduled for the 20213 Geneva Motor Show in March.

According to the French based automaker, the new Peugeot 2008 is 4.16 meters long, 1.74 meters wide and it’s riding on a wheelbase of 2.54 meters, being close in size to the path opener, the Nissan Juke. A boot of the 2008 is opened rectangular and it’s offering 360 liters of volume with the rear seats up, and with the seats down, this can increase up to 1,194 liters, out of which 22 liters are below the floor, with a single press of a button.

The Peugeot 2008 will get a 1.2 liter e-THP 110 unit under its hood and a 1.2 liter e-THP 130, with 205 Nm and 230 Nm of torque respectively, along with other versions. The Peugeot 2008 is getting Grip Control, which can adapt the ride to the terrain by acting on the front wheels, and with the driver being able to select from Snow, Sand, Off-Road and ESP Off modes. Additional details on the Peugeot 2008 crossover are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, next month.
