Peugeot has officially pulled the wraps off the Foodtruck Concept ahead of the 2015 Milan Design Week, where it will be making its public debut, in a couple of weeks.
The newest model to be signed by Peugeot hasn’t been unveiled at the 2015 New York Auto Show or at the Seoul automotive event but over the web. This has been called the Foodtruck and it is basically a concept car which has been revealed at a special event in Paris. The vehicle has been created by Peugeot Design Lab, the company’s Global Brand Studio, and it will be officially presented to the public, in a premiere, at the 2015 Milan Design Week, on the 14th of April.
“Following its unveiling in Paris, the Peugeot Foodtruck will take up residence at the Peugeot stand during the 2015 Milan Design Week, before travelling the few miles across town to set up outside the French Pavilion for the 6 months of the 2015 World’s Fair Expo Milano. It is sure to be one of the Pavilion’s stars”, said the carmaker in the press release.
The Peugeot Foodtruck Concept has been based on the Peugeot Boxer and it is basically a mobile bistro. This can provide food for up to 30 people on standing panels and it will be also entertaining them with a 46-inch screen. Four induction burners, a deep fryer and two grilling plates can be found inside it. The 400-liter refrigerated under-foot compartment should also be mentioned, along with the 350-liter refrigerator, which will be keeping drinks cold.
