The French based automaker Peugeot has recently announced that the Onyx Scooter Concept will make its public debut during the 2012 Paris Motor Show this week.
According to the car manufacturer, Peugeot will present the Onyx Scooter Concept at this year’s French automotive event, along with the Onyx supercar. Peugeot says that the Onyx Scooter Concept is combining two different configurations, motorbike and scooter and, as you can see from the images posted below, is combining lines from the supercar. The Peugeot Onyx Scooter is coming with a 200/50 R17 rear tire and the possibility of choosing to drive it as a scooter or as a motorbike.
The Peugeot Onyx Scooter Concept is coming as a plug-in hybrid which is combining the regular 400cc internal combustion engine with an electric motor powering the rear wheel. The total output developed by the plug-in hybrid is 45 kW and 58 Nm of torque and this is allowing the model to achieve a top speed of 150 km/h (93.2 mph). The average fuel consumption stands at 2 L/100 km (117.6 mpg US / 141 mpg UK) and the range provided in ZEV model is 30 km (18.6 miles) at 50 km/h. Additional details are limited for the moment.
