The French based automaker Peugeot has recently announced its plans to introduce the final production version of the RCZ R during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, next month.
Originally previewed by a concept car back in September 2012, during the Paris Motor Show, the Peugeot RCZ R is now closer than ever to its future customers and the model will be officially presented to the public in July, during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
“The RCZ R is the culmination of an evolutionary product journey that started with the original RCZ Concept that quickly made it into production, then into the three-times class-winning Nürburgring race car that inspired the road-going RCZ R. The RCZ R Concept previewed the evolution at the Paris and Geneva Motor Shows – shown with a matt black and copper livery that heralds the spiritual stance of a road-going RCZ R”, said the carmaker in its official press release.
The new Peugeot RCZ R will be the most powerful ever road going vehicle produced by the company. The model will receive a 1.6 liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, which will develop a total output of 260 HP. Additional details on the Peugeot RCZ R are limited for the moment and will be announced next month, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
