Peugeot has recently introduced its most powerful road-going car, the RCZ R, to Australia, where prices for the model have been set at 68,990 AUD.
The Peugeot RCZ R is now 10,000 AUD more expensive than the existing RCZ range in Australia as the model is carrying much o the standard equipment seen in that model. Changes made to the cabin include the front bucket seats, with the R logo on them, the red stitching on the leather, the Alcantara trimmed cabin, the R badging on the dashboard and some other tweaks. It misses out, however, on features such as the heated seats.
Peugeot says that the RCZ R can be ordered in four colors, the Mercury Grey, the Perla Nera Black, the Opal White and the Moroccan Red. Power is coming from the 16 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 199 kW and 330 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes 5.9 seconds and the average fuel consumption stands at 6.3L / 100km. The base 1.6L four-cylinder turbo petrol manual version of the RCZ, with 147 kW and 275 Nm of torque, is available from 58,990 AUD.
