Peugeot has released more official images with the new generation of the 308, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, on the 10th of September.
The new generation of the Peugeot 308 has been officially unveiled just a few months ago but the model will actually make its public debut in Frankfurt, next month. The 2014 Peugeot 308 is looking way better than its predecessor and it has been moved upmarked in order to tackle the new Volkswagen Golf VII. Rumors are saying that the brand new Peugeot 308 will actually go on sale right after the German automotive event, scheduled for next month.
The cheapest version of the Peugeot 308’s new generation is said to get a 1.2 liter VTi engine under its hood, which is good for 82 HP (60 kW), and the model’s starting price will be set at 17,800 EUR, in its homeland. The 1.6 liter THP, with its 155 HP (114 kW), will also become available for the model, costing 24,500 EUR. Optional goodies include the panoramic roof, metallic paint, premium sound system, 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels, Comfort Package, Assistance Package and more. Additional details on the new Peugeot 308 will be announced during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
