The French based automaker Peugeot has recently released the first image with the 208 T16 Pikes Peak in racing livery.
After it was officially unveiled just a few weeks ago, and with famous WRC champion Sebastien Loeb going for a spin in it just last week, the new Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak race car is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing yet one more image with the model. The image in question is showing the Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak in racing livery, ahead of its racing debut in the Unlimited Class.
The Peugeot 208 T16 is powered by a 3.2 liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which is good for 875 HP (652 kW), mated to a six-speed sequential transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in an impressive 1.8 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 4.8 seconds and from 0 to 240 km/h (149 mph) in just 7 seconds. The model has large magnesium alloy wheels, a double wishbone suspension, hydraulic double circuit brakes, a tubular steel frame and a 40-liter fuel tank capacity, amongst others.
