The French based automaker Renault has recently revealed the 2012 Laguna Coupe, which is coming with a series of changes on both styling and performance.
According to the car manufacturer, the “new” Renault Laguna will be available with a choice of three petrol and four diesel engines. For the petrol powerplants, the 2012 Renault Laguna is being offered with the 2.0t (F4Rt) unit, which is coming in two power outputs, 170 and 205 horsepower, and a larger 3.4 liter V6 which is developing 240 horsepower, being mated to an automatic transmission. Diesel lovers can chose between the 2.0 dCi and the 3.0 dCi V6, where the first is coming with three power outputs of 150, 175 and 180 horsepower while the second one is generating 240 horsepower.
Renault says that the 2.0 Energy dCi 150 engine is completely new and the 2012 Laguna equipped with this unit has CO2 emissions of 118 g/km. The powerplant is developing a total output of 148 horsepower and it’s fitted with the start / stop technology and Energy Smart Management. The 2012 Renault Laguna is being offered in four trim levels, the Black Edition, the Monaco GP, the GT 4Control and the Initiale equipment level. Prices for the 2012 Renault Laguna Coupe start at 31.500 EUR (42.125 USD) in France and the model will be launched in February.
