The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has recently unveiled the 2013 Genesis Coupe facelift, at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show.
After being teased for quite some time and being placed into the spotlights by the manufacturer, the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe facelift has been finally presented to the public, at this week’s 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. This isn’t actually the first time when the model is presented to the public and the Hyundai Genesis Coupe facelift has seen daylight back in November, when it was revealed in South Korea and in several other markets.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe facelift is coming with the standard 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, which is developing a total output of 274 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 275 lb-ft, 64 HP and 52 lb-ft more than the previous model, thanks of a new twin-scroll turbocharger and a larger intercooler. Customers will also be able to choose the 3.8 liter V6 engine, which has now gained 42 horsepower and 29 lb-ft of torque, to a total ouf 348 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque, thanks to the addition of direct injection.
As you can see from the images posted below, the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is also coming with a new styling, besides a power boost, and a revised interior design. This is all we know for now about the model and details like performance or the price tag haven’t been announced yet.
