The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has just been placed into the spotlights after the 2013 GL-Class has leaked over the internet.
After the guys at autoforum.cz have brought us some details about the new Fisker Project Nina, or Atlantic as it will be known, the same source is now bringing us a lot of images with the facelifted version of the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, which will wear the 2013 model year in its name. Even if the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL has leaked, we still don’t have a lot of technical details on it, but this might be solved at this year’s New York Auto Show, where the model might make its presence felt.
The “new” Mercedes-Benz GL is actually more refined and the seven-seater has been based on the M-Class, with its new hood design, LED headlights and two-bar front grille, along with the “revolutionary” rear fascia, but the overall aggressive design makes us think at a possible AMG version. The 2013 GL has also borrowed ML-Class’ leather seats, metallic accents and wood trim. Under the hood, the “new” GL-Class is expected to come with a 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine, which will generate 255 HP, along with a new 4.7 liter V8 petrol unit and its 402 HP. The model is also expected to come with an all-wheel drive system and a seven-speed automatic transmission, but there is no official word on this just yet.
