The Smart ForTwo facelift II has been recently revealed and what better way to attract all the attention than by releasing a lot of images with the model.
After the “new” Smart ForTwo facelift II has been spied for a few times, the model is once again placed into the spotlights, this time by the automaker, who released a lot of official images with it. As you can see from the photos posted below, the Smart ForTwo facelift II’s design has been inspired by the 2012 ForTwo Electric Drive, but even so, the model looks to be more sporty.
“The way in which the fortwo now displays the smart logo more prominently stands for the brand’s new self-confidence”, said the company’s boss, Annette Winkler. “The smart fortwo has long become an icon that is defining feature of urban traffic throughout the world.”
Smart says that the 2013 ForTwo facelift II is coming with a redesigned front fascia, a diffuser integrated into the rear bumper, centrally mounted dual exhaust pipes, for lamps or LED DRLs and the model is coming in the same equipment lines, Pure, Pulse, Passion, Brabus and Brabus Xclusive. For the 2013 Smart ForTwo, a choice of thee 1.0 liter three-cylinder engines is available:
Petrol micro hybrid – 61 HP, 4.2L/100km, CO2 97 g/km
Petrol micro hybrid – 71 HP, 4.2L/100km, CO2 97 g/km
Turbo petrol – 84 HP, 4.9L/100km, CO2 114 g/km
Turbo petrol – 102 HP, 5.2L/100km, CO2 119 g/km
CDi turbodiesel – 54 HP. 3.3L/100km, CO2 86 g/km
