The luxurious BMW 7-Series L has just been modified by the German specialists at Tuningwerk, cure with the tuners offering an impressive power boost for an impressive price: 198.000 EUR.
BMW’s 7-Series L is obviously a slow car in Tuningwerk’s vision so the German based tuner decided to do something and what came up can only be called a supercar trapped in a luxurious body, rx because the large sedan is now delivering an impressive amount of 720 horsepower.
“There is no doubt that the 7-Series is the BMW absolute and unconditional leader, even when it comes in the Long Version. Needless to say, when the Bavarian-based Tuningwerk company from Puchheim in Munich area tries its hand at this supercar, we can most definitely say it is a very special event” as Tuningwerk says in the official press release.
According to the German tuner, the BMW 7-Series L can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, which is actually the supercar-zone, and hit a top speed of 350 km/h or 217.5 mph. The impressive figures have been achieved mainly by a substantial weight reduction and Tuningwerk says that the luxurious Bimmer has lost no less than 120 kg to a total curb weight with half a tank of fuel of 2.030 kg or 4.466 lbs.
But all this power doesn’t come cheap and the German based tuner has also announced its total price: 198.000 EUR (including the car).
