Even the current BMW M3 is just about the be replaced, the aftermarket specialists at a-workx are proving once again that the model still has what it takes and with a power upgrade the vehicle is becoming even more irresistible.
According to a-workx, the BMW M3 takes its power from the standard engine which has now been modified to develop a total output of 454 horsepower and a peak torque of 460 Nm (339 lb-ft), compared to the standard 414 horsepower and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). The German tuner says that thanks to the power upgrade, the BMW M3 can now accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.1 seconds, while the standard M3 can do the same spring in 4.8 seconds. 200 km/h is reached in 13.2 seconds, 2.5 seconds faster than the series.
If you think that 454 horsepower is not enough for you, the German specialists at a-workx are also offering a supercharger option, separately, which takes the M3’s total output to 592 horsepower. For better handling and a more aggressive look, a KW suspension kit has been fitted and the vehicle is now sitting on 19 inch ATS Super Light rims wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires.
The upgrade package for the “old” BMW M3 doesn’t come cheap and the German tuner has announced its price: 52.229 EUR with the ceramic brakes and 34.034 with steel ones so exclusivity and more power have a significant price in this case.
