BMW Asia has recently announced a special edition of the BMW M3 Coupe, which will be named the Competition Edition, and the powerful model is expected to be available worldwide.
After being announced back in November last year, the BMW M3 Coupe Competition Edition is actually commemorating 40 years of the company’s M Division, and the model will be made in just 450 units which should hit dealerships around the world. The BMW M3 Coupe Competition Edition will only be available in Frozen Silver Metallic exterior paint and with a deep metallic finish, along with exterior accents such as dark chrome kidney grille, black hood intakes, M side gills and the 19-inch rims from the M3 GTS.
In the cabin, the BMW M3 Coupe Competition Edition is coming with Novillo leather, Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, the M3 Chekered Flag logo on the door sills and some carbon trim on the dashboard. Power to the limited edition of the BMW M3 will be provided by the 4.0 liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 414 horsepower, mated to the M DCT double clutch transmission. The BMW M3 limited edition can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
