The German based automaker BMW has just released a very special edition of the popular M5 F10 named Frozen Black during a press conference and it seems that the powerful sedan will be available in this color as an expensive BMW Individual Option.
This isn’t the first time when the Bavarian automaker is launching the Frozen Black on a vehicle in its lineup and earlier this year the E92 M3 Coupe has seen the same paint job for the limited edition wearing the same name which was available in the United States in just 20 units.
Even if the Frozen Black might seem like an interesting choice for a BMW owner, besides being unbelievably expensive, the paint scheme will definitely give you some hard time because leafs and bird poo are its worst enemy and you can’t just wipe its body because that would damage the paint. So you are in fact paying extra for something that will make your life harder.
As a reminder, the BMW M5 F10 sedan is powered by a 4.4 liter V8 engine which delivering 560 horsepower and has a peak torque of 502 lb-ft available from 1.500 rpm, mated to the M Double Clutch Transmission Drivelogic with steering wheel mounted paddles.
The 0 to 62 mph acceleration time in the M5 F10 takes just 4.4 seconds and the powerful sedan can hit a top speed of 190 mph with the M Driver’s Package.
