The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently released more official images with the new Camaro ZL1.
The 2012 model year Chevrolet Camaro has already been presented to the public, launched and even its starting price has been set at 54.995 USD, but now the muscle car is once again placed into the spotlights after the North American based car manufacturer has released more official images of it. The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro is coming in two body styles, coupe and roadster, and both models will be powered by the same supercharged V8 engine, but those of you who are thinking into ordering the drop-top version should know that it will arrive this summer.
As a reminder, the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by the LSA 6.2 liter supercharged V8 engine which is developing a total output of 580 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 556 lb-ft. The engine is sending power to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. The 0 to 60 mph acceleration in the ZL1 takes 4.0 seconds and the top speed is 180 mph for the manual transmission version while the automatic transmission one can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 184 mph.
